This Website Promotes An Argument For & Hosts a Petition to Recall Federal Elected Officials based on the Declaration of Independence.
The Recall we are seeking is not a "throw them all out" proposition, but a surgical operation whereby those that overstep their Constitutional authority are subjected to Recall, State by State.
Remember there are no defacto laws allowed in the US. This action would only be going forward, not reaching back.

It's time for the People to be able to hold elected officials directly accountable outside of an election year by the ability to "alter or abolish" them through Recall "whenever" they pervert the Constitution by over-stepping their Limited, Enumerated Constitutional Authority which is destructive to individual liberty.
Some say there is no authority under the Constitution for the People to recall Federal elected officials, but the Declaration of Independence certainly recognizes the Right of the People to "alter or abolish" ANY form or government WHENEVER it becomes destructive of the Right to Life, Liberty, and Pursuit of Happiness, with which they are endowed by their Creator, NOT government.
How else, then, does one alter or abolish oppressive governments, if not by altering or abolishing the bad actors who implement it?
No one else is going to "Stand Up" and secure the Rights of the People like We the People! We have the Right to do so recorded in the Declaration of Independence. Often, the best way to learn about something is by doing. Let's rediscover that Right by putting it into practice.
Growing up in America, you'd think it was "Of the Federal Government, By the Federal Government, For the Federal Government," instead of "Of the People, By the People, and For the People." The ONLY reason the Federal Government exists is because of the consent of the governed, the People! You'd think it is the other way around judging by current circumstances.
It seems that when we elect someone to represent US to the national government, they instead turn and face us, representing the interests and power of the national government instead, and begin to dictate to us how we are going to conduct our lives! This is wrong! This is not how the federal government is supposed to operate! The Constitution has been turned completely on it's head! This is NOT the way it's supposed to be, and it has to stop NOW! The only just power government has is from the "consent of the governed" and they certainly don't have our consent to ram socialism down our throats! We then, need to withdraw our consent as soon as possible.
Also, with the current one-party domination of both the House and Senate, we are getting a firsthand demonstration of what it would be like to live in a country where the leaders act more like a "ruling class" than the SERVANT of the People.
We believe the Founders meant for the People to be the counterbalance in just such an instance as we've described, thus they recorded for posterity in the Declaration of Independence the Right discussed in this article, the Right of the People to "alter or abolish" ANY form of government when it becomes destructive of liberty.
It's up to the People now to rescue themselves. So in light of our current political situation and the Right given us, we propose taking the following measure.
Our Rights Come from God, NOT the Constitution or Government!
The Right recorded for the People by the Founders in the Declaration of Independence, namely the Right to "alter or abolish" ANY form of government when it becomes destructive of personal liberties, is a Right we have from God that can therefore be exercised "WHENEVER" any form of government becomes destructive of those ends. Since the government did not give us this Right, it cannot justly keep us from exercising it!
Webster defines "whenever" as "At whatever time; When; Every time". It is our opinion that time has come, agreed? Since the Declaration of Independence states we can take this action "whenever"...we need not wait to take this Right to ourselves. It is obvious then that we can also take this action independent of our Elected Officials and Judiciary since the People may do so "whenever" needed. We do NOT need their blessing or permission to do this any more than the Founding Fathers needed the permission of the British government in their day.Indeed, can you imagine the Founders thinking that a People given this Right should have to ask permission to exercise it of those in power over them, which are working to destroy their freedoms? How absurd would that be! How far do you think "We the People" would get if that's what it means to have the Right to "alter and abolish" that current form of government, that we would have to seek Legislative or Judicial permission, asking the very oppressors of liberty for "freedom" to exercise our Right! Ridiculous!
I'm sure our elected officials would LOVE for us to continue believing the ONLY Right we have to affect the political process in this country occurs every 2 to 4 years and that we just simply have to put up with the abuse of our liberties until then! We can see how well THAT process is working, can't we! We need hope and change in the voting process too.
We need not wait until an election cycle to take action, in fact we DARE not wait! While we are glad to see other organizations laying long term plans to return the Constitution to its rightful place, we don't believe we have the "60 to 100 years" they say it will take to rebuild from the bottom up, while there are those working over-time to pass legislation NOW that many believe will be destructive to private insurance companies and our economy, and thereby limiting our personal liberty to choose our own health-care options, despite the rhetoric to the contrary.
We need to take bold, decisive action NOW, just as our Founding Fathers did, to stop the seeming rush to destruction our nation is being forcibly pushed toward, agreed?
The Constitution Hasn't Changed!
It's not the Constitution that has changed. No, many of those currently in office are trying to force on the People what we and many others believe is another form of government, namely socialism, which we believe can be demonstrated to be in direct contradiction to the freedom and liberty guaranteed to We the People.
So in the current context of our country, the "alter and abolish" that needs to take place is the ouster of ALL our non-representing President, Senate and House of Representatives. This must be an all or nothing action, or it will not work.We can't just simply cherry pick a few bad actors we dislike. In fact there's plenty of reason to say that they've ALL failed us to one degree or another, wouldn't you agree? We've been taken for granted by both major parties for far too long, and it has to STOP! We must begin building the framework needed for the People to alter or abolish elected officials when they over-step their Constitutional limitations.
